Mike McGuire Ministries is the expression of the life and ministry of Mike McGuire. Mike became a follower of Christ at age 10. Several years later, Mike began studying high school Spanish simply as a pre-requisite for college. Life took an unexpected turn two years later when Mike Participate in his first mission trip to Barrio de Los Montoya, Mexico just across the border. That first mission trip with his father in November 1974 set the course for his life. Since that time Mike has taken mission trips to Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Cuba, Spain, Belarus, Ukraine, and Thailand. Usually such trips involved either translating or Teaching English as a foreign language.

During those years, Mike earned a Master of Divinity degree in 1988 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. His concentration was in missions and evangelism. Mike has put that training to work. He has served as youth minister while in seminary, full-time pastor, associate pastor, Area Missionary and bi-vocational pastor. In all positions, evangelism has been a high priority.
